M&B IP Analysts brings a unique approach to managing the intellectual property (IP) activity of high-tech companies. We tailor our services to our clients’ goals and constraints.
Our major objective is to assist high-tech companies in managing IP assets in order to meet their business goals through a well-defined IP strategy. Our services include taking patent applications from idea to issue and beyond. We focus our services to start-ups, entrepreneurs, and companies that require in-house IP. Our expertise and practices are designed to accelerate innovation within your company without interrupting your day-to-day business activities.
In addition, M&B IP Analysts maintain an impressive track record for developing valuable company patent portfolios, which has led to significant successes in IP monetization in some of the largest company acquisitions.
We are proud of our representation of multi-million dollar acquired start-up companies as well as for companies in various stages of development and financing.
START UP FOCUS
Without strategic and experienced guidance, even the best ideas of entrepreneurs and innovators may never get off the ground. Often times, engineers and inventors are experts in science or technology but may not be experienced in business or legal issues. Our role is to help them succeed. With our longstanding experience in entrepreneurial services to small businesses, emerging growth companies, venture-backed companies and start-ups, our clients can focus on their ideas and be confident that a solid IP foundation is being built.
We understand the particular constraints of start-ups and entrepreneurs working on their crucial patents. We strategize the business’s IP protection from seed-to-exit, and make certain that your business goals are met.
We counsel start-ups and entrepreneurs not only in patent prosecution aspects, but also in strategies on IP aspects related to fundraising and commercialization. Our creative approach and experience with start-ups can turn a phone call about an idea into the foundation of a new business.
The M&B IP Analysts team includes accomplished, skilled, and creative thinking business and patent law practitioners worldwide. Our practitioners have an extensive background in cutting-edge technologies including, among other fields, cyber security, cloud computing, Fintech, Ad-tech, e-commerce, IoT, wireless communications, storage networks and systems, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, automotive, clean tech, semiconductors, materials, medical devices, digital health, and bio-tech.
Our commitment includes:
- Full-package service of identifying, protecting, and maintaining IP
- Providing helpful advice to meet goals or advance projects.
- Informing clients on their IP status and recent trends in the legal and business landscape.
- Accessibility and responsiveness to clients’ needs and issues
- A simple and transparent fee structure.
Effectively and strategically prosecuting patents is critical to business, particularly for innovative companies. Success may depend on protecting unique technology and revenue streams, while at the same time advancing patents to increase the likelihood they would successfully survive litigation in the future all within a time sensitive framework.
PATENT MINING AND STRATEGIZING
“Is it patentable…?” “It is too simple to be a patent” “I don’t believe that we can file a patent application on software”… These are just some of reasons we hear from engineers as to why they do not file for a patent. The fact is, however, that many engineers find it difficult to identify the patentable concepts in products that they are working on.
We focus our practice on start-ups, public companies and research institutions that require in-house IP counseling, but financially cannot be justified. M&B IP Analysts offers the benefits of an in-house patent department without the long-term commitment of hiring additional attorneys.
Patents are property traded like any other asset. We at M&B IP Analysts can help you maximize the value from sales of your patent portfolios. Being a group of patent practitioners, we are better positioned to explain the unique value of your patents than the typical patent seller.
